Botanical Information:

Family: Proteaceae
Genus: Grevillea
Species: rosmarinifolia

Meaning of name:
Grevillea, after Charles Francis Greville (1749–1809), an English patron of botany and a founder of the Horticultural Society in 1804
rosmarinifoliais from Latin: rosmarinus, rosemary + folium, leaf. A leaf shaped like that of the rosemary plant

The Rosemary Grevillea is a small to medium rounded shrub 0.3m to 2m high (1 ft to 6.5 ft) and is indigenous to the central west of New South Wales and down into central and western Victoria.

Clusters of pink or red flowers appear from winter to spring, and attract many nectar-feeding birds and insects.
